Following J. Money's post from last Friday, I thought I'd share my answers to the same questions here:
1. The most I’ve spent this last week was on _____.
The most I’ve spent this last week was on a brand new ASUS VW266H 25.5″ Widescreen LCD Monitor. After the rebate and shipping it came to $251.81. Don't hate me and don't yell at me!! Yes, I finally broke down and moved into the 21st Century. I've been using one of those big honkin' heavy monitors. At work I was finally allowed a second monitor and my productivity has increased with using two monitors. I work from home one day a week, and it has been so constraining trying to use my one monitor. So last Sunday AJ brought in his 25.5″ widescreen monitor to let me try it out, and I was trying not to buy one but then I just broke down and bought one the next day. I should be able to take it as a business expense, since all I do is work every extra spare minute of my life.
2. Today I feel _______towards money.
Today I feel ambivalent towards money. It needs so much attention. It comes in and goes out. Drops into my account and I move it someplace else. I'll be so thrilled when our credit card debt is gone for good!
3. Money can’t buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was_____________.
Money can't buy happiness. One free/inexpensive thing I did last week that made me happy was to make myself a delicious smoothie at home, instead of buying one from an expensive vendor.
4. I will consider this week a success if I _____________.
I will consider this week a success if I get all my credit card payments made on time and we stay within our grocery budget.
5. My first job was ______________.
My first job was babysitting for my parents, and sometimes for my neighbors. My first real paying job was as a mall maid at a large shopping center.
