Credit Scores

How long has it been since you checked your credit scores? Today is as good a time as any to see how you’re doing!

I recently used Go Free Credit to get all three of my credit scores.  Read my review here and check what my credit scores are: Review: Go Free Credit – Get All Three Credit Scores. I am curious about your credit scores!  Please come back and share your numbers with me.

There seems to be some confusion when it comes to credit reports and credit scores. The Fair Credit Reporting Act legislation has made it possible for you to request one free copy of your credit report each year from each of the three reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian and TransUnion) using AnnualCreditReport.com. These reports will allow you to look at your past and present credit history. With this information in hand you can take steps to correct errors, figure out how to and find where you need to repair your credit. These reports do not however, include your credit score. You will be given the opportunity to purchase your credit score for a small fee when using AnnualCreditReport.com.

Even though you would need to pay for your credit score through AnnualCreditReport.com, have no fear there are some options for obtaining your credit score at no cost.

Go Free Credit gives you free instant access with a 7-day Credit Score Complete credit monitoring trial, $19.95 per month thereafter. Sign up and check your score for seven days. As long as you cancel your membership within seven days, you will not be obligated to pay the monthly fee.
