Last month we decided Mr. A would begin using his business credit card for gasoline purchases, so we came in just under my estimate for gasoline for my vehicle. Mr. A's truck is used almost exclusively for his business so we shouldn't really count the money we pay for gasoline as personal expenses.
Without even trying, we came in $229.60 under budget on groceries, although in the last week of August we decided to cut the grocery budget to $160/week.
We came in under budget, which is great, but Mr. A also had a slow month, which means we didn't have enough money to go around so coming in under budget was a very good thing.
