Well shoot. It appears the last time I made a report on our credit card debt was back in April! Time sure does fly!
In April, our credit card debt was at $20,731.85. I am quite pleased to report that we continue to go steadily pay that amount down, and are now at $15,537.02. [CLICK TO CONTINUE...]
I remembered not posting the March monthly report, but I can’t believe I forgot February’s, too!
At any rate, here are the reports from both months.
We went over in March due to a car repair, and the grocery budget was way over the top. Let me direct your attention to the “Dining” portion [CLICK TO CONTINUE...]
Okay, we were under budget on a lot of items. I always like seeing that gasoline amount come in under budget, and no major car repairs.
We went over budget on Beauty/Sundries by $9.96. The main item to push me over in this category is the purchase of the Shikai lotion [CLICK TO CONTINUE...]
I never got around to reporting in December on our credit card debt. In November the total was $23,775.36 and at the end of January it was $23,645.68. It has gone down $129.68 in two months. Yet again, while I wish it was going down faster, at least it is going down and not [CLICK TO CONTINUE...]
I reported in October that our credit card debt was at $23,847.48. After finance charges and payments, at the end of November, our credit card debt is at $23,775.36.
It has gone down $72.36.
I am very pleased to report we did not use our personal credit cards in November. No wait, that’s a [CLICK TO CONTINUE...]
I am really in awe at the month of November. In shock, really. For one thing, we did not take a draw from Mr. A’s business during the actual month because we took the draw on October 30th for November, it did not show up in the report. And then it turned out we [CLICK TO CONTINUE...]
The month of October really got away from me. Auto expenses were high: I had to buy new tires for my vehicle ($346), and we had to replace the fuel pump in Mr. A’s work truck ($257). Somehow, gasoline was $135.79 lower than it usually is.
I am so pleased with the September report. I was ready to post this report early in October, but I scheduled it for later in the month after I’ve paid the monthly payments to the credit cards.
