My Blog Was Broken

I still am not sure what happened, but my blog broke yesterday and I had to restore the SQL database.

I’m telling you this to let you know if you commented in the last day, your comments will not be visible on the blog. However, I have all my comments emailed to me, so I will be recreating them from tomorrow.

And now, I must get to bed.

Many thanks to Third World Geek for this post: How To Backup and Resurrect Your WordPress Blog.  It is the second time in the last month that I’ve had to use the instructions. The first time was to help a friend whose blog had broken – same problem as mine this time. Basically all posts were gone. Comments were present, but zero posts.  The first time thankfully things went smoothly. With my attempt at resurrection, not so smooth. I hit several bumpy spots but eventually muddled through and learned a few things along the way.
