You also have to add : do not buy stuff you can afford, but cannot maintain! like buying a huge house (can afford) but having to pay lots of real estate taxes!

Love this bit from SNL. Sadly, the simple lesson probably would confuse a lot of people to follow that concept.

Hi Bucksome, unfortunately! I know it was something my grandparents practiced. They say things come back, hopefully we are getting back to that way of thinking.
