One More Garden Update

I know, I know, I just posted yesterday about my garden harvest over the weekend.  Well, actually it was on Friday morning that I got all those lovely veggies from my garden.

Monday morning I didn’t have to be at work-work, I was working at my boss’ home so she scheduled me to get there by 9am, which meant I didn’t have to leave at my normal 5am!  That meant I was able to give the garden a good watering, and harvest more veggies! It was just so exciting, I have to share.

Monday’s haul was:

  • 3 Ambassador Zucchini Squash
  • 4 Lavender Touch Eggplant
  • 5 Pickling Cukes
  • 4 Raveena Eggplant
  • 1 Manyel Tomato
  • 1 Cluster Grande Tomato
  • 1 (I am pretty sure) Big Rainbow Tomato
  • Regular Cuke

Darn it, I forgot to weigh the produce yesterday! I would say at least 8 pounds.

I took several to my boss and we had some of the veggies for dinner last night.

I’m planning to take that big beautiful tomato to work with me one day this week and share with my tomato aficionado coworkers.  Can’t wait to try it!
