Last year we chose to file an extension, so our taxes weren’t due until October 15th. I actually thought we were done on April 4th, and had posted about that but then I went and read a book on self-employment taxes and got myself all freaked out. This year I hope to have them [CLICK TO CONTINUE...]

I’ve been asking friends and acquaintances if they have a CPA they can recommend. I have received a few recommendations, but several weren’t taking new clients.

Since I take care of Mr. A’s transaction privilege taxes online, I get a monthly email with reminders, updates and changes to Arizona taxes. A couple of weeks ago, an additional one came through stating that Senate Bill 1185 had been approved and our withholding will be increased beginning May 1, 2009.
It’s not [CLICK TO CONTINUE...]

Whooo boy… one of my coworkers is in this boat. He had someone come into his house and help him get his home organized, and this included filing his paperwork. On April 15th he discovered he didn’t know where the person filed his tax information! The person was in Oregon and didn’t remember filing [CLICK TO CONTINUE...]
