Mr. A Finds A Deal on Craigslist

Mr. A needed some scaffolding for a job where he was going to be installing 15 ceiling fans into homes that had 20′ vaulted ceilings. We checked on Craigslist and found a guy that was selling not only the scaffolding that Mr. A wanted, but also a 32 foot extension ladder, and a shorter ladder. The guy only wanted $125 for all three things! The ladder alone was worth nearly $400 if Mr. A bought it brand new. And the scaffolding was the heavy duty kind that Mr. A had planned to invest in. I love it when we can find deals that keep our costs down.

Do you use Craigslist? What was your best deal ever? I'd love to hear about it, leave me a comment!

  1. Craig’s List is great. My best coup was a practically new washer and dryer for my son’s house. The washer was the Kenmore model that I coveted but couldn’t afford when I bought mine!!! We paid $150 for about $500 worth of machinery.
