The Price of Bread is Outrageous!

Can you believe the price of bread from the store? Over four dollars a loaf for some types! Goodness!  I don't really eat much bread, but Mr. A likes to have sandwich bread on hand for sandwiches.  He always tries to buy bread that is on sale, or at least the cheapie store brand pretend wheat – you know the kind that looks like white bread but it's brown colored? What’s a Vacation?

I haven't had too many vacations in my life. Cheese Enchiladas – Muy Delicioso

I'd like to share our family enchilada recipe with you. My mom started making these when I was a young child, when we lived in an area of town with mostly Hispanic families. It is one of my favorite childhood meals.  Funny About Money probably remembers the old Food City over on Buckeye Road.  My grandparents lived over at 23rd Avenue and Mohave, but shopped Food City exclusively, as did my mother.  Food City didn't cater to the Hispanic community… Read the rest
