Where In The World Have You Been?

I saw this post first over at Funny About Money’s, and then at Revanche’s A Gai Shan Life and thought I’d share here. I have done hardly any traveling in my 47 years, and Virginia, Illinois and Colorado were states we happened to be in for our vacation to Washington, DC. The visit to Illinois was brief, three hours in the airport.  Colorado was even briefer, about half an hour. But hey, I can still say I’ve been there, right?

I don’t have a travel wish list. I’m content to stay within the United States, right in Arizona. I have never had much of a desire to travel and every time I leave Arizona I’m even more convinced that home is where I long to be.

It definitely cuts down on travel expenses when you never go anywhere.

What about you? Where in the world have you been? You can go here to create your very own map: Create your own visited map of The United States. And if you’re a world traveler as well, click here to create your own visited map of the world.

  1. Love this post! I think I am going to ‘borrow’ it! I would love to track where in the world my kids have been, myself and my hubby. Obviously being an (ex) marine means my husband has traveled internationally WAY more than I have. However, I think I may have him beat for national travel!

  2. This is so cool. Not having travel a priority is a great cost cutter. Way to go, stay true to yourself. Best, Barb

@Barb, thanks. You know though… I have thought if I had the money and I was retired, it would be fun to toodle around in an RV around the country and meet all my Internet friends. 🙂
