I'm late in announcing this, but I wanted to share that the Yakezie Alexa Challenge now has its own website: Yakezie.com. We began learning more about the members of the group on August 16th; how they got started blogging, how they learned about the challenge and a few details about their personal lives away from the computer.
My introductory post is here: Yakezie Member Post – Out of Debt Again.
I joined the challenge in March 2010 and my Alexa ranking steadily dropped (which is a good thing, the lower your Alexa number, the better!). It is awesome to be part of a group of bloggers that are working selflessly to promote one another! I just wish I had more time to do just that. That is the other great thing, there is no pressure to do more than you are able. I actually dropped out of the challenge for about six weeks because I worried I wasn't doing enough. But after chatting with a couple of the members, I realized that I was doing my part by displaying the badge, and using the widget created by Frugal Zeitgeist and Free from Broke that you see at the end of all of my posts. I also try to retweet; I love Twitter but have so much else to do that I just can't find much free time to spend there.
Anyway, go on over and take a look at the new way cool site!
Appreciate your highlight, and welcome back from your trip!
