On Monday I learned over at Simply Forties that March is National Women’s History Month. To honor the great women of our history, I’m reviewing a book by a woman who is successful and intelligent and who was has twice been named Most Powerful Woman in Business by Fortune magazine (2004 and 2005).
My book review today is about Meg Whitman, who wrote The Power of Many: Values for Success in … click here to continue reading Book Review & Giveaway: The Power of Many by Meg Whitman

One of the things I love about the Internet is all the free programs you can find. Today I want to tell you about one of my favorites, Nattyware’s Pixie Colour Picker.
Pixie Colour Picker was created for webmasters and designers, and with the explosion of blogs across the Internet more people are learning how to tweak their templates. I always have Pixie open when I’m tweaking my blog template, Atahualpa … click here to continue reading Pixie Colour Picker – My Favorite Free Computer Tools

AJ recently subscribed to Netflix and he is really enjoying the service. He pays right around $10 a month and has watched quite a few movies. I keep wanting to watch a movie, but never find the time. He has mostly watched movies that can be downloaded instantly, but he has ordered a couple to come by snail mail for Big A to watch.

How many times has this happened to you while shopping at Amazon? Have you, like me, gone to order one book, find a second one that you want and find that both books come to just a dollar or two short of free shipping?
I’ve wondered if there was some way to find something inexpensive to buy, to get my purchase over $25.00. Usually I end up buying another book I … click here to continue reading Need A Small Dollar Item on Amazon?

I bought a Nikon Coolpix L100 through Amazon on Thanksgiving. I received the camera a few days later, and was pretty happy with it. Then I discovered, in spite of reading reviews all over the Internet and seeing it on Nikon’s site with my own two eyes, my most favorite mode was missing. Fireworks.
So I put in a call to Nikon, and spoke with Rayni in customer service, who informed … click here to continue reading Nikon’s Doing Me Wrong – My Coolpix L100 Doesn’t Have Fireworks Mode

Hi guys! Thank you for coming. Good night. [Laughter] This is not my typical Thursday evening. I’ve got to stop wearing Spanx to these things. I can’t get a deep breath. Wow. Amazing. I’m just trying not to get choked up. I had an allergy attack in Salt … click here to continue reading Transcription: Changing Hands Bookstore Q & A with Pioneer Woman

Today I’m opening the floor to my dear readers. Ask me any question, and I’ll try to answer it. Maybe there’s something you’ve always wondered, but have never asked. Maybe you want advice for a particular issue. Maybe you have a question about blogging. Or about Excel. Perhaps you’d like to ask me to blog on a certain topic or issue?
