The rule of thumb you mention is one that I have known about all my life, too. Unfortunately, my family are the type that you have to be really careful about what you say to them, because then they will go against you so hard they'll even do things they know are wrong for them. Like I can't say too much to my sister, or she'll get more bound and determined to get that house no matter what. The prices are homes have plummeted in Phoenix so she might be able to find a little less house with a more management payment. Thanks for visiting and commenting!
