Hi A.Marie: Thank you for your kind words. I feel sad thinking about the young woman, too. It has been almost a year since I saw her. I hope her life has gotten better.

I am raising my former foster daughter (we legally adopted her) and she is now almost 19. She has challenges, also, and I cannot imagine her being homeless and pregnant. Just about broke my heart to read your post! Thank you for doing that for that girl; God will bless you for your efforts in helping her!

I'm sad, just thinking about the baby that will come into that situation. One of my friends is a foster mother and one child who came to her as a baby had been born to a couple where one or both was mentally challenged. When the baby cried and they couldn't get him to stop, they shook him. They didn't know better. They didn't mean to hurt him. But a perfect little baby ended up with shaken baby syndrome.

I really hope the couple you saw can get some kind of help.

Jennifer, I was glad I had the gift card to give to her. I just hope she held onto it and didn't lose it before she got a chance to use it. Thanks for visiting and commenting!
