Birthday Freebies

Do you take advantage of the birthday free offers from various establishments?

I know there are a lot out there, but I don't really like to go out if I don't have to so I don't usually partake in any of the offers.  I am signed up for these two:

Baskins-Robbins Birthday Club – you should see the offer to sign up for their Birthday Club right on the home page.

NYPD Pizza – NYPD Pizza doesn't make any big announcements on their site about having a Birthday Club, but if you sign up for their email list apparently they do, since they sent me a coupon for a free dessert [with the purchase of an entree, calzone or pizza] on the first day of the month. It is good through the entire month of May.

I was looking around on the ‘net for any other birthday freebies, there are tons.

Hey, It's Free has a very comprehensive list (as of this post updated March 2009). Hey, It's Free – Birthday Freebies lists not only freebie birthday food, but coupons to entertainment and discounted services.  I just signed up for the Black Angus Prime Club.  Free steak dinner for my birthday!

The really nice thing I'm seeing is many of the offers aren't limited to the date of birth, but can be used during the month of your birth, or up to two weeks after your birthday. So you don't have to do everything all in one day.

I haven't made plans yet for my birthday and haven't even bought myself any gifts. Mr. A did buy me a DVD – Fireproof – but gave it to me last week. My mom sent me a card and $20 and my job sent me a card.

I've asked AJ if he'll help me CLEAN HOUSE my bedroom, well, Mr. A's and my bedroom, which mostly is cluttered up with my junk. Oh, and not CLEAN HOUSE in the way of buying a whole new bedroom set or anything, but mostly to just through the painful process of getting rid of lots of clutter.

What do you like to do for your birthday?
