Cigarette Tax

I heard on the radio today that a pack of cigarettes is selling for eight dollars a pack. Sheesh, that’s expensive.  Mr. A quit smoking in November, 2006.  Every so often I go to Stop Smoking Quitmeter to get an idea of how much we’ve saved.  Obviously it’s not an accurate number, since you put in the cost of cigarettes when you stopped smoking and back then a carton was $37. For the expensive ones.  According to Stop Smoking Quitmeter, we’ve saved $3237.50 and Mr. A hasn’t smoked 17,500 cigarettes.

So I just wondered what you all think about this cigarette tax.  Do you smoke and want to quit?
