Just a quickie post! Are you done with your Christmas shopping? Got everything wrapped and under the tree? No? Me either. I still don’t know what we’re doing for Christmas, the days are passing so quickly, too quickly. There are a couple of sites you might want to know about for your last minute [CLICK TO CONTINUE...] It was so exciting yesterday to get my second monitor. I have wanted this setup for a while, and I am so glad it has finally been made possible. My main project right now, aside from my “regular” duties, is getting our manual accounting set up into our electronic accounting. One of the things [CLICK TO CONTINUE...] I never did find the record keeping book I was looking for over the weekend. I went over to my clients’ house after work yesterday and was there for a couple hours which meant I got home after dark. Got to work when it was dark and got home after dark. Ack. Today will [CLICK TO CONTINUE...] I love my digital camera. It’s just a point and shoot, a Nikon Coolpix S550, but I love it. My son AJ persuaded me to splurge and buy the plum camera. I bought my camera from Costco back in May; it was $212.53 ($199.99 + tax), and came with a free 2GB card. Amazon [CLICK TO CONTINUE...] I’m really not a collector. I’m a packrat, but not a collector. Actually, my opinion of collections is they are just one more thing to take care of. When I was growing up, my siblings used to break my prized possessions, so I pretty much feel like “why bother?” I have to work hard [CLICK TO CONTINUE...] I’ve been a packrat all of my life. I believe it stemmed from my poverty-stricken childhood, but it could be genetic as my grandmother and grandfather who lived through The Great Depression were both afflicted with it. And well, yes my mother has it as well. Mr. A has it, worse than me, and [CLICK TO CONTINUE...] I really must do some research at the store and see how much Swiss Chard costs. When I have looked, it looks like 6 to 10 leaves cost $2 or more. Swiss Chard is a truly frugal vegetable. What I love the most about it is the fact that you harvest a few leaves [CLICK TO CONTINUE...] I’ve been extra busy lately. I’ve got a lot of pans in the fire, and on top of those I’m assembling a mailing list to send out for Mr. A’s business. We’re going to send a 2009 magnet calendar with Mr. A’s business information on it, a price list, several business cards and just [CLICK TO CONTINUE...] Wow, it’s hard to believe December is here already!!
